Write about something you know. If you don’t know much about a specific topic, invite an expert to write about it. Having a variety of authors in your blog is a great way to keep visitors engaged.

You know your audience better than anyone else, so keep them in mind as you write your blog posts. Write about things they care about. If you have a company Facebook page that gets lots of comments, you can look here to find topics to write about.

Don’t forget to add images

Calm Down Kit

Write about what you know

I created a calm down kit for children based on some incredible ideas I found on Pinterest.

This kit includes a lot of visuals to support children to self regulate as well as help the adults in the children's lives support them in self regulating.

Here ideas were used to create most of my calm down kit!

Calming Sensory Jars
I created these sensory calming jars for the kit. Each jar was created using materials from dollarama.
1 plastic jar
-1 tbsp glitter gravel
-1 tsp of glitter
-1/4 cup of hair gel
Fill the rest of the jar with water. Put in the food colouring of your choice to create the colours. Put the lid on and shake until the colours are mixed. Glue the lid on using hot glue to ensure safety for the children and that there won't be a glittery mess to tidy up!
